U.S. Congress considers forcing rail workers to accept deal to stop strike

Leaders in congress have agreed to consider legislation that would avert a major rail strike before Christmas.

U.S. President Biden urged representatives to pass a deal that was agreed on with some of the major rail unions in September, but not all.
