HAWAII'S MAUNA LOA ERUPTS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOUR DECADES

Residents of Hawaii are ready to evacuate should it be necessary, as
hot lava continues to light up the skies.
The island's Mauna Loa ([MOW] + [NUH] + [LOH] + [UH]) volcano began
erupting on Sunday for the first time since 1984, ending its longest
quiet period in recorded history.
The National Guard is on standby but authorities say there is no need
for panic just yet.
