The Trump organization charged the US Secret Service what the House Oversight Chair is calling "exorbitant rates"for agents to stay at Trump hotels while protecting the former President and his family.
They were as much as five times more than the government rate, according to newly released Secret Service records.

The European Union has imposed new sanctions on eleven people and four entities in Iran which the bloc says are responsible for the death of Mahsa Amini and subsequent human rights violations.
Demonstrations erupted in Iran after 22-year-old Mahsa Amini died in detention last month. The EU accuses Iranian authorities of violently repressing peaceful protesters.
