Brazil presidential election goes to round 2 with Lula ahead

Indonesia pledges enquiry after soccer tragedy

The Indonesian government is promising a full investigation after at least 129 people died in a stampede at a local soccer match. The game between two sides with a bitter rivalry ended in disaster as fans began rioting, and police responded with tear-gas.

U.S. judge sides with Trump in documents review

Eurozone inflation hits new record of 10% in September

Inflation in the Euro area hit 10% in September, a new record replacing the previous all-time high of 9.1% in August.


The rise, across the nineteen countries which use the euro currency, is partly driven by soaring energy prices amid the fallout of Russia's war in Ukraine.

Australia – Covid isolation mandate to end

N Korea fires more missiles after Harris visits DMZ

UN Secretary General condemns Russia

United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres has condemned plans
by Russia to declare the annexation of occupied parts of Ukraine.
