Pakistan floods economic losses estimated at more than $40bn

Officials say severe floods in Pakistan may have cost more than $40 billion in damage and economic losses.

This comes as the death toll has reached more than 1,400, and there are forecasts for more heavy rain.

QUEEN TO LIE IN STATE

Clinton investigator Kenneth Starr dies at 76

Kenneth Starr, whose investigations into Bill Clinton led to the former president's impeachment, has died at 76.


Starr became a household name in the US for looking into Clinton's business dealings and personal life.

Biden celebrates Inflation Reduction Act as US prices rise

Dow posts worst day since 2020 on inflation fears

Queen's remains arrive in London, will lie in state for 4 days

Queen Elizabeth II's casket has made its way to London where she will lie in state at Westminster Hall for the next 4 days ahead of Monday's funeral.

Ukrainian President claims massive military gains over Russia; Kremlin says army "regrouping"

Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky claims the country has recaptured more than 3500 square miles of territory from the Russians so far this month, and he's promising further efforts to push Russian forces back.
