Twitter has launched a counter attack against Elon Musk's plans for a hostile takeover.

Indian green energy giant Tata Power Renewables raises $525 million

Elon Musk makes "best and final offer" to buy Twitter for over $40 billion

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has offered to buy Twitter for more than 40 billion dollars, saying wants to make the social media platform a private company.

European Central Bank holds interest rates amid record inflation

The European Central Bank is sticking to plans to conclude its stimulus programme in the third quarter of this year.


ECB chief Christine Lagarde also announced interest rates will remain at their current levels despite record-high inflation and uncertainty around the war in Ukraine -- a decision that's out of step with many other central banks around the world.
