Tesla CEO Elon Musk has offered to buy Twitter for more than 40 billion dollars, saying wants to make the social media platform a private company.
The world's richest man, who is the company's largest shareholder, said Twitter isn't living up to its potential to "be a platform for free speech around the globe".
