The United States has accused Russia of using the United Nations
Security Council to try to legitimize misinformation.

It comes after Russia called a meeting of the body to discuss it's
allegations that Ukraine is developing biological weapons.

Nail in the coffin for Texas abortion law challenge

A major setback for abortion advocates in Texas.

The state's highest court has rejected a legal challenge to a new abortion law, that bans the procedure after about six weeks of pregnancy.

The ruling effectively ends abortion providers' efforts to block the law at the federal level.

UN receive “credible” reports of Russia using cluster bombs in Ukraine

EU readies new Russia sanctions, mulls Ukraine's membership bid

Extraordinary meeting planned over Ukraine for Council of Europe

The Council of Europe will hold an extraordinary two-day session next week to address the Russian invasion over Ukraine.

POLAND REFUGEE UPDATE

The UN says the number of refugees fleeing the violence in Ukraine now tops 2 million -- with that figure expected to climb in the next few weeks.

Threats against election officials rise over baseless fraud claims

US local election officials are increasingly concerned about facing threats fuelled by false allegations of voter fraud in the last Presidential race, according to a national survey published on Thursday.

Ukraine civilian death toll rises to at least 516
