Australia – State government announces redress scheme for victims of forced adoption

Australian women who had their children taken through forced adoption will receive compensation as part of a redress scheme.


More than four million dollars will be spent on the country's first redress scheme for mothers in the state of  Victorian who were forced to give up their babies between 1958 and 1984.

White House: Russia may use chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine

President Biden's top officials are angrily dismissing Russian claims that the US has been developing chemical weapons in Ukraine as "misinformation".

Biden Takes Step Toward Regulating Cryptocurrencies

More aid for Ethiopia's conflict region
