South Korean opposition candidate Yoon wins presidential election

Yoon Suk Yeol - a candidate for the main opposition party - has won South Korea's presidential election in a tight race that has been overshadowed by scandals. 

He takes over as the country battles its worst Covid-19 outbreak and faces heightened geopolitical tensions in the region.
