Russia's health regulator will report people spreading disinformation about Covid-19 vaccines to federal investigators.

It says it will pay special attention to anti-vaccine campaigning by doctors.

UK opposition parties are accusing the government of corruption after it blocked the suspension of a Conservative MP.

Owen Paterson had been facing a 30-day ban over repeated breaches of lobbying rules.

Conservative MPs were told to vote instead for an overhaul of the disciplinary system which opposition lawmakers say is a 'stitch up'.

Hong Kong prepares to rollout COVID-19 booster jabs

A date has been set for multilateral talks to revive the Iran nuclear deal. Negotiations have been on hold since the June election of  Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who is expected to take a tough approach when the talks resume November 29th.

Accusations of sleaze as UK MPs vote to put on hold suspension of colleague

British politicians have voted to put on hold the suspension of former government minister Owen Paterson.


The Conservative Party MP faced a 30 day suspension after a parliamentary committee found he had breached lobbying rules by using his position to assist two companies employing him as a paid consultant. 


But the governing Conservatives claimed the system was unfair and proposed changing the investigation process. Their amendment was supported by 250 votes to 232.

Human rights body warns of more atrocities in Ethiopia

The UN  is warning that prolonged fighting in Ethiopia could open the way for more human rights violations.


It has released a report on fighting in the northern region of Tigray, in conjunction with the Ethiopia Human Rights council .

The Kremlin has hit back at US President Joe Biden after he chided Russian President Vladimir Putin for failing to attend the COP 26 climate summit in Glasgow.

President Biden said the Russian President's tundra is literally burning — but he's "mum" on his willingness to do anything.

Vladimir Putin's spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, said Russia has promising, concrete plans to address global warming -- and noted it's not just Russia's tundra on fire, but Californian forests too.

India doesn't sign deforestation declaration at the COP 26 summit

India is one of the countries that has decided to stay off the declaration on deforestation and land use, which was initiated by the UK at the COP26 summit.

Australia - Four year old rescued after going missing for 18 days

Police in the state of Western Australia have found four year Cleo Smith, 18 days after she disappeared from her parents tent, while on a family camping trip at Carnarvon in the states north.


A 36 year old man is in police custody following the little girls recovery but no charges have yet been laid.
