India doesn't sign deforestation declaration at the COP 26 summit

India is one of the countries that has decided to stay off the declaration on deforestation and land use, which was initiated by the UK at the COP26 summit.

This declaration aims to "halt deforestation" and land degradation by 2030, and has over 100 signatories including China and Brazil.
