Germany looks to move away from measuring Covid-19 incidence rates

Richard Branson flies to edge of space in Virgin Galactic Craft

Tanzania has recorded 408 new Covid-19 hospilizations since the third wave of the viral disease broke out across the globe.

Haiti requests US troops to safeguard critical infrastructure following Presidential assassination

Haiti says it's asking the US to provide military force to help "stabilize" the situation after the assassination of the country's President on Wednesday.


The White House says FBI and homeland security officials are heading to the Haitian capital to join the investigation into the killing.

CDC Says Vaccinated Teachers and Students Don't Need Masks

The US Centers for Disease Control says that teachers and students who are vaccinated against COVID-19 don't need to wear masks in school.


The agency also urged schools to stay open even if they're unable to adhere to all recommended prevention strategies such as social distancing.

Pfizer-BioNTech request approval for third booster shot

European and American health regulators are being asked to consider approving an additional booster shot against Covid-19. 

The request comes from Pfizer-BioNTech, who say new data suggests their vaccine may need a top-up to ensure antibody levels don't fall over time.

TALIBAN ASSURES SURROUNDING COUNTRIES IT WILL RESPECT BORDERS

The Taliban has assured Russia it will not violate the Tajikistan or Uzbekistan border, as its forces continue seizing territory previously controlled by the Afghanistan government.
