India approves Moderna vaccines for emergency use

Australian border policy slammed as Covid outbreak linked to return traveller

U.S. markets little changed despite strong economic data

LA County “strongly recommends” indoor masking

Los Angeles County is advising people to wear masks in indoor public spaces, regardless of their vaccination status.


The guidance comes with the highly transmissible Delta variants now accounting for almost half the county's coronavirus cases.

Ethiopia ceasefire in Tigray

Biden to visit scene of apartment collapse amid reports residents were warned of structural problems

President Biden says he's planning to visit the scene of last Thursday's apartment collapse in Florida later this week….possibly as early as Thursday.


The official death toll stands at 11 with more than 150 people still unaccounted for.


And there are fresh reports today that residents of the building were warned of structural problems that needed to be addressed.

150 still missing in Miami building collapse, 11 dead

The search and rescue operation in Thursday’s Miami building collapse has entered a sixth day, with 150 people still missing and at least eleven dead.
