EMA OFFICIAL SAYS THERE IS A LINK BETWEEN AZ AND CLOTTING

A top European Medicines Agency official says there IS a link between the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine and a rare type of blood clot.

In an interview with Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, the EMA's head of vaccines, Marco Cavaleri, said "it is clear there's a link with the vaccine" but they still don't know the mechanism that causes the clotting.

More than 1,800 inmates escape from Nigeria's prison facility


The government has confirmed that over 1,800 people escaped after a prison break in southeast Nigeria. Unknown gunmen launched a series of attacks on a correctional facility in Imo state, freeing the suspects and destroying properties there.

Iran nuclear deal talks in Vienna to revive 2015 accord

Total power shut down for South Sudan’s capital city

UK REGULATORS CONSIDER AZ CLOT CONCERNS

UK regulators are considering whether to recommend the Oxford-AstraZeneca covid-19 vaccine only be used for older people.
