Total power shut down for South Sudan’s capital city

A company generating electricity that supplies South Sudan's capital Juba has begun load shedding on Tuesday with the aim of a total power shut down within three days.

Ezra Construction and Development Group that generates the power says the power plant is in a critical state and cannot operate any longer due to a lack of foreign currency.
