India suspending vaccine exports temporarily

India has reportedly placed a temporary hold on exports of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

This amid a surge in domestic demand to counter a second wave of infections. The vaccine is manufactured locally by the Serum Institute of India, the world's largest vaccine manufacturer by volume.

Hong Kong reassures public over COVID-19 vaccines

Hong Kong's health authorities are trying to reassure the public over the safety of China's Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine, after two more people died within weeks of inoculations. Health experts say both suffered from chronic illnesses and there is no evidence of the vaccine being responsible.

Chinese E-Commerce Sites Pull H&M Products Over Old Xinjiang Comment

New AstraZeneca analysis says jab is 76% effective

The pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca has released a new report which shows its COVID-19 vaccine is 76% effective at preventing symptomatic illness.

North Korea launches another projectile on eve of Biden press conference

North Korea has launched another projectile which this time could be a ballistic missile, according to reports from Japan, South Korea and the United States.

WHO warns global deaths from COVID-19 are on the rise again
