India suspending vaccine exports temporarily

India has reportedly placed a temporary hold on exports of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

This amid a surge in domestic demand to counter a second wave of infections. The vaccine is manufactured locally by the Serum Institute of India, the world's largest vaccine manufacturer by volume.
