Russia defies US sanctions by resuming work on gas pipeline in Baltic sea

A Russian ship has resumed work on a gas pipeline connecting Russia to Europe - defying US sanctions introduced in the final days of the Trump administration. 

The work on the controversial project comes just days after lawmakers in Brussels called on the EU to halt construction on the pipeline as a response to the Kremlin's violent crackdown on opposition groups.

UGANDA COURT ORDERS SECURITY TO LEAVE BOBI WINE PREMISES

Ugandan Army Kills 189 Al Shabaab Fighters in Somalia

Hong Kong government considers more COVID-19 lockdowns

Biden to reinstate Covid travel bans on UK, Europe Brazil plus SA

The Biden administration is reinstating COVID-19 travel restrictions on most non-US citizens entering the country from the UK, parts of Europe and Brazil.
