Ghanaian incumbent, Nana Akuko Addo wins re-election
Ghana's incumbent, Nana Akufo Addo has won re-election in a keenly contested Presidential race. He came up against former President John Mahama and 10 other candidates. The Electoral Commission's result put Nana Akufo Addo in the lead with nearly 52 percent of total votes cast.

Hong Kong orders localised mandatory testing to fight COVID-19
Hong Kong is further tightening its measures to combat the spread of Covid-19, including mandatory testing for people living in areas linked to new outbreaks.
Daily case numbers have regularly topped 100 in recent days, prompting some health experts to call on the government to enforce a complete lockdown in the worst affected areas of the city.
