Boeing approved to resume 737 Max flights

US authorities have given plane manufacturer Boeing clearance to
resume flights of its 737 Max plane, nearly 2 years after the model
was grounded over fatal crashes.

Almost 350 people were killed in two accidents in Indonesia and Ethiopia.

UGANDA OPPOSITION CANDIDATE ARRESTED

Uganda's main opposition candidate Robert Kyagulanyi also known as Bobi Wine has been arrested on a campaign trail in Eastern Uganda.

Police are yet to issue a statement on the arrest but they had earlier warned Presidential aspirants not to flout COVID-19 regulations.

UK PM takes part in PMQs virtually for first time ever

Boris Johnson and Sir Keir Starmer have clashed during the weekly Prime Minister's Questions, with the opposition leader calling Mr Johnson "the single biggest threat to the future of the United Kingdom."

UK PM unveils 10-point climate plan, inc ban on petrol/diesel cars

The British government has announced a ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars in the UK from 2030.


It's part of Prime Minister Boris Johnson's long-awaited 10-point plan, with a commitment to make the UK carbon neutral by 2050 through a "green industrial revolution." 


The country will play host to the UN's COP26 international climate summit next year.

12 Nigerian police officers allegedly kidnapped

Uganda Carries Out First Successful Siamese Operation

Delhi Planning to Impose Restrictions Across the City

India added over 38,000 new COVID 19 infections in the past day, taking the country's total caseload to over 8.9 million.

Japan, Australia reach agreement on defence pact

Nearly 100,000 claim sexual abuse compensation from Boy Scouts of America

World's Lone White Giraffe Fitted with GPS Tracking Device
