Japan formally proclaimed Crown Prince Akishino, the Emperor's younger brother, as the first in line as heir to the throne at a ceremony over the weekend. Hong Kong continues its fight against US "Made in China" deadline

The Hong Kong government is continuing its fight against US demands that Hong Kong manufacturers re-label their goods as "Made in China" if they want to sell in the US.

The deadline for the US order is Tuesday, but the Hong Kong government says it may seek arbitration from the World Trade Organisation if a resolution cannot be reached.
