Indian states start to ban firecrackers during Diwali for the safety of COVID 19 patients

Indian states have started banning the sale and use of firecrackers due to the twin problems of COVID 19 and air pollution.

India added over 47,000 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the country's total caseload to over 8.4 million.
