Biden: “We have to stop treating our opponents as enemies"

US President-elect Joe Biden has addressed the country for the first time since defeating president Donald Trump in a closely-contested election. Speaking in his home town of Wilmington, Delaware, Biden promised to heal the divisions which largely defined Trump's presidency, as well as a bitter election campaign. Trump, who has made unfounded claims of voter widespread voter fraud, has yet to concede defeat. Biden at times spoke directly to Trump's supporters, saying he is ready to be their president as well.
