The U.S. Secretary of State is traveling to Doha ahead of talks
between the Afghan government and the Taliban.

Uganda Resumes Peacekeeping Deployment to Somalia

UK signs agreement with Japan, securing first trade deal since Brexit

The UK has secured its first post-Brexit trade deal after signing an agreement with Japan.


The British government estimates the deal will boost trade with Japan by about $20bn, and UK businesses will benefit from tariff-free trade on 99% of exports to the Asian country.

After two clashes between their troops in the last three months, India and China have now agreed to deescalate tensions.

Foreign Ministers of both countries met in Moscow at the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, their first face-to-face meeting since the border stand-off started in May.
