Uganda Resumes Peacekeeping Deployment to Somalia

Uganda has resumed deployment of peacekeepers to Somalia after halting the exercise due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

   The exercise had been suspended in May after a few Ugandan soldiers tested positive to       COVID-19.

   Uganda has around 6000 soldiers under the peacekeeping mission, AMISOM in Somalia.
