Big gains on Wall Street despite GDP figures
Wall Street posted major gains on Wednesday despite the U.S. economy
posting its worst quarterly contraction since 2008.
The U.S. markets were buoyed by a promising Covid-19 drug trial and
comments from the chair of the Federal Reserve.
The Dow Jones and S&P closed up over two percent with the Nasdaq
ending up over 3.5 percent.

UGANDA MASS COVID TESTING

Uganda has begun a mass testing initiative targetting transport workers following a surge in the number of truck drivers testing positive for Covid-19.

UK TESTING ELIGIBILITY EXPANDS
Coronavirus testing in the UK is available to millions more people from today (Wednesday).
The government has widened the eligibility for tests to include all care home residents and staff, anyone over 65, and people who can't work from home.
