Big gains on Wall Street despite GDP figures

Wall Street posted major gains on Wednesday despite the U.S. economy
posting its worst quarterly contraction since 2008.

The U.S. markets were buoyed by a promising Covid-19 drug trial and
comments from the chair of the Federal Reserve.

The Dow Jones and S&P closed up over two percent with the Nasdaq
ending up over 3.5 percent.
