Grenfell Survivors Welcome Support

A 1000 page report following an inquiry into the Grenfell Tower blaze, which killed 72 people in London has been released.


The fire which took place in June 2017 was the biggest loss of life in London since the Second World War.


Survivors have welcomed the report, which heavily criticised the actions of the London Fire Brigade and their preparedness for a blaze of this scale.

UK Politicians Prepare For December Election

The UK will go to the polls on December 12 for an early general election as the government attempts to break the deadlock over Brexit.


The British Prime Minister and leader of the Opposition clashed during what is expected to be their last Prime Minister's Questions until the election date.

French car manufacturer PSA confirms merger talks with FIAT


French car manufacturing group PSA has confirmed it is in talks with FIAT Chrysler Automobiles about a potential merger.


This comes after a possible tie-up between FCA and the French company Renault, broke down earlier this year.

Indigo buys three hundred A320 Neo jets from Airbus

Airbus has confirmed the sale of three hundred jets to India's budget airline – Indigo.

The deal is worth 33 billion dollars according to the catalogue price of the aircraft.

Carmakers PSA and Fiat confirm merger talks

French carmaker PSA (formerly Peugeot Citröen) has confirmed it is in merger talks with Fiat Chrysler.

VW lowers sales outlook for 2019

36 million people in India at risk from coastal flooding, study says

A new study reveals that 36 million people in India could be affected by annual coastal flooding by 2050 if global carbon emissions are not reduced significantly.

Syrian Constitutional Committee to hold first meeting in Geneva

UNHCR urges Tanzania government to ensure Burundi refugees return must be voluntary and not forced

The UN Refugee Agency has made another call to the Tanzanian and Burundi governments to ensure that refugees returning from Tanzania to Burundi must do so voluntarily and not be pressured in any way. As per the bilateral agreement that was signed between the two states in August to increase the number of returning refugees.

White House official to testify in impeachment probe

A White House official will tell an impeachment probe he was so disturbed by President Trump's request for Ukraine's president to investigate his political rival he reported it to a lawyer.
