UN Security Council finds limited unity on Syria

The United Nations Security Council has managed to find some unity
over the Turkey offensive in Syria by expressing its "deep concern".

However, the world's premier body for peace and security remains
divided over what should happen next.

Three US diplomats stopped near site of deadly rocket explosion in northern Russia

Three US diplomats have been removed from a train in northern Russia near the site where a deadly rocket explosion took place in August.

The US embassy employees were reported not to have the correct documents to enter a restricted area without permission.

Indian Supreme Court concludes hearing on decades old Ayodhya Temple dispute between Hindus and Muslims

Court proceedings in the Ayodhya dispute concluded on Wednesday, a panel lead by lead by India's highest ranking judge has been hearing the decades old case for the past 40 days. The contentious land dispute has been a key point of tension between Hindus and Muslims communities in India for many years. Hindus believe that the disputed site is the birthplace of one of their most revered deities, Lord Ram. But Muslims say they have worshipped there for generations on a mosque built by Mughal emperor Babur.

Democratic frontrunners attacked in latest 2020 election debate

Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam has had to deliver her annual address by videolink after being heckled in parliament.

Parents of dead British teenager meet President Trump but refuse to meet US diplomat's wife suspected of killing their son until she returns to UK to face justice

The parents of british teenager Harry Dunn have met US President Donald Trump - but refused his request to meet the American diplomat's wife who was allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road when their son died in a car crash.

Russia's special presidential representative on Syria says the Syrian government has reached an agreement with Kurdish people over access to the north-east of the country.
