Indian Supreme Court concludes hearing on decades old Ayodhya Temple dispute between Hindus and Muslims

Court proceedings in the Ayodhya dispute concluded on Wednesday, a panel lead by lead by India's highest ranking judge has been hearing the decades old case for the past 40 days. The contentious land dispute has been a key point of tension between Hindus and Muslims communities in India for many years. Hindus believe that the disputed site is the birthplace of one of their most revered deities, Lord Ram. But Muslims say they have worshipped there for generations on a mosque built by Mughal emperor Babur.
