China threatens sanctions on US firms that sell arms to Taiwan

China has threatened to impose sanctions on US firms involved with the sale of military planes to Taiwan, if the US government goes ahead with the deal.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang urged the US to stop the sale of the F-16 fighters to Taiwan.

Boris Johnson To Meet With Angela Merkel

Merkel meets British PM Johnson in Berlin

Russia and China call for UN meeting after US missile test

The UN Security Council will hold an emergency session on Thursday after Russia and China called for one to discuss the United States' weapons projects.

This comes after the US tested a cruise missile for the first time after Washington's exit from the INF Treaty.

Trump postpones visit to Denmark in Greenland flap

AUSTRALIA: Cardinal Pell sentence appeal dismissed

Cardinal George Pell's appeal against his prison sentence has been dismissed by Victoria's Court of Appeal in Melbourne and he will remain in prison.
Pell was convicted in December of five charges over the rape of one 13-year-old choirboy and sexual assault of another at St Patrick's Cathedral in Melbourne in 1996.

Epstein signed new will two days before death

days before he was found dead in his New York jail cell.

The court papers list no beneficiaries but value his estate at over
$577 million.

Russia, China slam US missile test

Russia and China are warning of a new arms race after the United States test-fired a cruise missile this weekend.

Twitter, Facebook suspend accounts linked to 'Chinese misinformation campaign over Hong Kong'
