Russian President Reacts to Moscow Protests in Meeting with Macron

The Russian President has spoken for the first time after weeks of protests in Moscow in support of opposition candidates who have been barred from running in the city's local elections.

Vladimir Putin vowed to ensure that 'the situation remains within the realms of the law'.
