UK prime minister Boris Johnson is meeting German chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin, with both leaders saying they hope to avoid a no deal Brexit in October.
But the German chancellor has said Johnson's request to renegotiate the UK's withdrawal agreement from the European Union isn't an option.
