Uganda Fuel Tanker Accident

Intro;

 

Police in Uganda say 22 people are confirmed dead after a fuel tanker exploded into flames in the Western part of the country.

 

According to Police the driver of the fuel truck lost control and rammed into stationary cars at a busy trading Centre in Rubirizi district.

 

Investigators say the death toll from the accident is likely to go up as more people are still reported missing.

NYPD officer fired after 2014 chokehold on Eric Garner

the death of Eric Garner has been fired.

Trump downplays recession fears

U.S. President Donald Trump has downplayed concerns that the country
is heading towards a recession.

Fears of an economic contraction were sparked last week when the yield
on 10-year bonds dipped below that of the two-year.

This so-called inverted yield curve hasn't occurred in over a decade
and economists believe they're often seen before recessions hit.

The US will grant another temporary reprieve to Chinese tech firm Huawei, delaying proposed penalties for another ninety days.

UK GOVT REACTS TO LEAKED NO-DEAL DOCUMENT

The British Government says a leaked cabinet document, which warns of the damaging outcomes of a no-deal Brexit, is simply scaremongering.


Boris Johnson's government argues the forecast is out-of-date and looks at the worst case scenario.


This as he promised to take the UK out of the EU with or without a deal by the 31st October deadline.


The cabinet document warns about food, medicine and fuel shortages and implies that  businesses are not ready for the impact a no-deal is likely to have.
