President Trump threatens Mexico with tariffs if migration deal isn't approved

US President Donald Trump has threatened Mexico with tariffs if its Congress doesn't approve a new migration deal.

On Friday, President Trump said he was cancelling 5% tariffs on all Mexican goods - that were due to begin this week - after reaching the deal with Mexico.

Six men found guilty of raping a minor in India

Six of seven men accused of the rape, torture and murder of an eight-year-old Muslim girl in Indian-administered Kashmir have been found guilty.

The case sparked nationwide outrage because of the brutality of the crime and also because several Hindu right-wing groups, lawyers and two leaders from the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party had protested the arrest of the accused.

GRENFELL SURVIVORS LAUNCH U.S. LEGAL BATTLE

Chinese Media Slams Foreign Forces Over HK Protests

India to ask taxi aggregators to go electric

India plans to order taxi aggregators like Uber and Ola to convert 40% of their fleet of cars to electric by April 2026, according to a Reuters report. A decision to this effect is expected soon.

Two years ago, the Indian government had set an ambitious target to electrify new cars and utility vehicles by 2030 but resistance from the industry forced it to scale back the plan.
