Special Counsel Mueller submits court memo on Michael Flynn's 'substantial assistance'


Special Counsel Robert Mueller submitted his sentencing memo for President Trump's former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn on Tuesday

In the filing Mueller said Flynn had given substantial assistance to the investigation and recommended the defendant not serve any time behind bars.

House Republican Campaign Committee Hacked

The National Republican Congressional Committee says it was hacked during this year's midterm election campaign.
Emails from top officials of the campaign organization were reportedly surveilled for months.

Republican Senators: "No question" MBS ordered Khashoggi killing

Republican Senators on Capitol Hill says they are now convinced that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Russian flag and anthem banned from all major athletics events

Indian cop killed in mob violence

Four men have been arrested in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh after a police officer was killed by a mob protesting the alleged slaughter of 25 cows.

Police are now on the look-out for 25 other suspects. 

Cows are considered sacred by many Hindus and some accused of slaughtering the beasts have been lynched by vigilante mobs in the past.

Kim's birthday yet to feature on N. Korean calendar: report

But Kim's birthday is apparently just another working day.

Yonhap News reports 2019 calendars sold in North Korea don't mention Kim's birth, which is widely believed to be January eighth.

According to Yonhap, North Korea watchers say it may be a sign Kim doesn't believe he's earned the honor like his predecessors.

But Kim has agreed with South Korea's president to visit Seoul this year. A trip the former leaders never made.
