Kim's birthday yet to feature on N. Korean calendar: report

Kim Jong-un has attempted to convince the world this year he's a reformer for his people. But outside isolated North Korea, it's still hard to tell how he presents himself at home.

Kim Jong-un's father and grandfather's birthdays are national holidays in North Korea.

But Kim's birthday is apparently just another working day.

Yonhap News reports 2019 calendars sold in North Korea don't mention Kim's birth, which is widely believed to be January eighth.

According to Yonhap, North Korea watchers say it may be a sign Kim doesn't believe he's earned the honor like his predecessors.

But Kim has agreed with South Korea's president to visit Seoul this year. A trip the former leaders never made.
