Sexual Assault Testimony- Deadline Approaches

A deadline is approaching for the woman who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault.

The Chair of the US Senate Judiciary Committee says Christine Blasey (BLAH-zee)  Ford must tell lawmakers on Friday morning whether she's going to testify about her allegations against Kavanaugh.

A crunch summit's broken up in the Austrian city of Salzburg with the EU rejecting the UK's Brexit proposals.

Marine Le Pen ordered to take psychiatric assesment by French court

Tusk says Chequers Brexit plan "will not work"



The head of the European Council has said that British Prime Minister Theresa May's blueprint for future relations with the EU after Brexit will not work. 


Mrs May addressed a summit of EU leaders in Salzburg Wednesday, calling for them to accept what she called her serious so-called Chequers plan.    She also urged them to evolve their position on the tricky Irish border question. 


Speaking after the 27 EU leaders had met to discuss Brexit without Theresa May, Donald Tusk said the proposal risked undermining the EU's single market.

South Korea's Moon says neighbour Kim Jong-un ready for Trump talks


South Korea President Moon Jae-in says North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is ready to speed up getting rid of his nuclear weapons and hold a second summit with President Donald Trump.


Moon just spent three days in North Korea meeting with the young leader. But Moon said Kim will only act if the U.S. offers security guarantees for dismantling his weapons program.

Passengers on India flight suffer ear and nose bleeds following crew error

UN: Myanmar military must face genocide charges

In a new report United Nations experts are calling for Myanmar's top
military leaders to be prosecuted for the genocide of the country's
Rohingya Muslims.

The findings also criticized the UN's own agencies for not doing
