IRISH BORDER STICKING POINT REMAINS AT SALZBURG TALKS

The UK says it's the EU's turn to compromise as both sides run out of time to reach a Brexit deal.

British Prime Minister Theresa May's using an EU summit in Salzburg to try and push for progress, with the Irish border remaining a major sticking point.

EU leaders are discussing Brexit on Thursday without Mrs May, after she addressed them at a working dinner on Wednesday.

From Salzburg, correspondent Olly Barratt says there's still an Irish border impasse.
