The head of the European Council has said that British Prime Minister Theresa May's blueprint for future relations with the EU after Brexit will not work.
Mrs May addressed a summit of EU leaders in Salzburg Wednesday, calling for them to accept what she called her serious so-called Chequers plan. She also urged them to evolve their position on the tricky Irish border question.
Speaking after the 27 EU leaders had met to discuss Brexit without Theresa May, Donald Tusk said the proposal risked undermining the EU's single market.
