Trump faces retaliatory tariffs as trade fights intensify

This week will be a critical test of President Trump's resolve on trade fights he has started with most of the world's major economies.

In retaliation, Canada has imposed tariffs on $12.6 billion of U.S. products and China is set to levy tariffs on $34 billion worth of American goods on Friday. 

But despite the pressure Trump is standing firm.

Reports: UK PM draws up new Brexit customs plan ahead of talks

The British Prime Minister's office has reportedly drawn up plans for a third customs option with the European Union after previous ideas were rejected.

US plans North Korea denuclearization within a year

US National Security Advisor John Bolton says the plan to denuclearize North Korea could be complete within a year.

But he said sanctions would remain in place against Pyongyang until the denuclearization deal was complete.

However, US media has reported North Korea is continuing its nuclear program and aims to conceal weapons from inspectors.

US newsroom shooting 'a targeted attack'
