The British Prime Minister Theresa May has warned other European Union leaders that close cooperation on security after Brexit is vital for the safety of citizens across the bloc.
British negotiators say their EU counterparts are blocking agreement on measures to track terrorists and share information after March 2019 when the UK is due to leave the EU.
