Koch brothers launch multi-million dollar anti-tariff campaign

The billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch are launching a massive campaign against President Trump's trade tariffs.

This comes as Trump has extended steel and aluminum tariffs to also include the EU, Canada, and Mexico.

HEATHROW EXPANSION WINS UK CABINET APPROVAL

The UK cabinet has approved plans to build a third runway at London's Heathrow Airport.

It will now be put to a vote by MPs in the coming weeks.

Even with the go-ahead, the runway won't be operational until between 2025 and 2030.

Environmentalists oppose the plans because of concerns over noise, air pollution and the construction work required.

It's an issue that's been bitterly debated in the UK for nearly two decades.

Weinstein enters plea of not guilty

Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein has pleaded not guilty to rape and
committing a criminal sex act.

Dozens of women have accused him of sexual assault but Weinstein
denies ever engaging in non-consensual sex.

His legal team has questioned the credibility of those that have
spoken out against him.

Amnesty International says US-led coalition airstrikes in Syria could be "potential war crimes"



International human rights group Amnesty International says it has evidence that air strikes carried out by a US-led coalition in the Syrian city of Raqqa are potential war crimes.    

It has called on the British government to come clean about its role in the attacks which killed hundreds of civilians.   From London, Catherine Drew reports.

Kenya begins oil production

Kenya has launched a pilot plan to export crude oil as part of efforts to capitalize on the country's reserves.


Under the arrangement, some 2,000 barrels of oil will be transported daily by road from the oil fields in the Lokichar Basin in northwest Kenya to the port of Mombasa.
