CIA Director 'met with Kim Jong Un'

CIA Director Mike Pompeo made a top-secret to North Korea to meet with Kim Jong-Un, US media reports.

The meeting reportedly look place in early April. On Tuesday President Trump said the US had held talks with North Korea "at extremely high levels".

As our Washington Correspondent Harry Horton reports, the meeting was to help set up a summit between President Trump and Kim Jong Un by early June.

Trump and Abe discuss North Korea and trade

President Trump says the US is considering five locations for a summit with Kim Jong-Un of North Korea.

The US President was speaking at the start of a Florida meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. The two men are expected to discuss North Korea and trade.

One person dead after Southwest Airlines Emergency

One person has died after an engine exploded on a plane flying from
New York to Dallas.

There were reports of a passenger almost being sucked out of a window.

International experts to inspect Syrian chemical weapons attack site

Experts from the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) are to be granted access to an alleged chemical attack site in Syria, Russia said Wednesday. IMF predicts strong growth but cautions against trade war

2018 will be the strongest year for global growth since 2011 according to the International Monetary Fund.

In its new assessment of the World Economic Outlook, the IMF predicts growth this year and next of 3.9% but it has warned that the prospect of a trade war could lessen that.

Chemical weapons team enters Douma

Chemical weapons inspectors have been allowed access to the Syrian

UK PM APOLOGISES TO CARIBBEAN LEADERS

UK Prime Minister Theresa May has apologised to leaders from Caribbean nations over deportation threats made to some members of the so-called 'Windrush Generation'.
