The UK is marking a year since a terror attack at Westminster which killed five people.

Khalid Masood drove his car at people on Westminster Bridge before stabbing a police officer to death outside Parliament.

14 people died in 4 terror attacks in London in 2017 and all are being remembered at events in the British capital.

Police officer Sean Cartwright was called to the scene as colleague Keith Palmer was stabbed outside the Houses of Parliament - he's been paying tribute to him.

UK to Warn EU About Russia at EU Summit

UK Prime Minister Theresa May will tell Europe's leaders that Russia is a threat to the entire bloc as she meets with them for an EU Summit in Brussels.

Indian political parties deny Cambridge Analytica links

India's ruling party, the BJP and the country's main opposition party, the Congress have accused each other of having used the services of the analytics firm, Cambridge Analytica. 

Both parties have also denied these allegations.

However the website of Cambridge Analytica's Indian affiliate- Ovleno Business Intelligence mentions the BJP, the Congress and BJP's ally JDU as clients.

Zuckerberg says Facebook will step up security

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg says his company will step up security in the wake the data scandal rocking the social media behemoth.

But in a statement released Wednesday he stopped short of on apology.

Zuckerberg admits Facebook made mistakes amid allegations Trump campaign-linked Cambridge Analytica improperly obtained the personal data of 50 million users.

Facebook is promising a full audit of any third party app with "suspicious activity," and says it will further restrict access to user information by developers.

Thousands ordered to leave their homes as storms engulf West of US

Unarmed black man shot by police was holding mobile phone

Conservation concerns with Australian government legislation

In Australia the Labor Party opposition says the future of the iconic Great Barrier Reef is on the line, as it opposes new government plans to regulate marine parks.
On Wednesday, the government introduced changes to the regulation of 44 Australian marine parks, covering 3.3 million square hectares, that would reduce 'green' conservation areas in the Coral Sea from 50 to 25 per cent.
