Trump expected to unveil trade sanctions against China

US President Donald Trump is expected to unveil new trade sanctions against China later [16:30GMT Thursday].

The White House will reportedly punish Beijing for theft of American intellectual property with new tariffs on more than a hundred different Chinese goods.

The US has already targeted China with steep tariffs on steel and aluminium imports.
