Kenya Court Upholds Uhuru's Election

Intro;

Kenya's Supreme Court has upheld the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta on October 26th.

The court announcement now paves way for his swearing in for the second term in office.

The same court invalidated an earlier August 8th poll sighting irregularities.

EU to decide where to reassign UK-based agencies after Brexit

SERIAL KILLER MANSON DIES

Charles Manson, one of America's most notorious serial killers and cult leaders, has died in jail in California at the age of 83.

He led the so-called Manson Family, which killed seven people in Los Angeles including actress Sharon Tate in the late 1960s.

Mugabe gives TV address, refuses to resign as Zimbabwe leader

Robert Mugabe sent shock waves through Zimbabwe over the weekend when he failed to resign from his position as President during a highly anticipated national television address.

The 93-year old has been dismissed as the head of the country's ruling party and had been warned that unless he voluntarily stood down on Monday he could face impeachment.

Mugabe though gave no sign he was ready to end his 37-year rule over Zimbabwe...

Zimbabwe's Pres. Mugabe refuses to step-down, faces impeachment


President Robert Mugabee is vowing to stay in power, despite threats of impeachment against the 93-year old from Zimbabwe's ruling party.

During a much anticipated TV broadcast Mugabe had been expected to announce his resignation to the nation but instead suggested during the 20-minute address that he intends to remain in office.

Hundreds of thousands had already taken to the streets of the country's capital, Harare to celebrate Mugabe's downfall after he was placed under house arrest during a de facto military coup last week.

Thousands march in Washington for Puerto Rico

White House refuses to comment on Roy Moore following Pres. Trump tweets

The White House is refusing to comment on the appropriateness of Roy Moore's behavior, despite Donald Trump posting on social media, "The Al Frankenstien picture is really bad, speaks a thousand words." and wrote more.

Senator Al Franken has apologized to the woman in the picture and invited a Senate ethics investigation.

Roy Moore continues to campaign to be the next Senator from Alabama whilst more women come forward to accuse him of inappropriate behavior when they were teens and he was in his thirties.

Refugees fleeing Myanmar resorting to make-shift rafts to cross into Bangladesh

Rohingya Muslims desperately trying to flee violence in Myanmar are resorting to makeshift rafts to take them to Bangladesh,

Roy Moore to remain in Alabama Senate race

Roy Moore intends to remain the Republican candidate to take the U.S. Senate seat for Alabama in the December 12 special election.

He's refused to say on the record whether he touched a number of women inappropriately when he was in his 30s and they were teens, but he has said the allegations are false.

US Calls on African Nations To Sever North Korea Ties

The United States is urging all African countries to cut all remaining ties with North Korea, beyond just adhering to current UN sanctions.

The request includes downgrading diplomatic ties and expelling North Korean laborers.  

Separately, the US says Sudan has agreed to sever all trade and military ties with North Korea.
