Pres. Trump pushes migrant crime laws

U.S. President Donald Trump is pushing the passage of legislation intended to increase laws concerning illegal immigrants who commit crimes.

The acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement conceded in an off-camera White House briefing that migrants without proper documentation actually commit fewer crimes than American citizens.

Despite these facts, the cause has become an important one for President Trump, who spoke to the cameras with family members around him.

Iran set to respond to U.S. travel ban

Iran has announced it will respond to the United States travel ban by
taking reciprocal action.

U.S. President Donald Trump earlier this year called for a 90 day ban
on those coming from six Muslim majority countries including Iran.

The move was blocked by the lower courts but on Monday the Supreme
Court upheld parts of the ban until they fully review the measure in
October.

Manslaughter charges for chief police officer at Hillsborough

Six men including four former police officers will face criminal charges over the 1989 Hillsborough disaster in which 96 Liverpool football fans were killed in a stadium crush in Sheffield. 

The announcement from Britain's Crown Prosecution Service follows  a long campaign for justice from relatives of the victims.  

In the wake of the tragedy, officers from South Yorkshire Police Force suggested hooliganism and drinking by Liverpool supporters caused the disaster.    A second inquest into the deaths in 2016  found the supporters were unlawfully killed due to failures of the police and ambulance service. 

The police officer who had overall command of the match, former Chief Superintendent David Duckenfield will face manslaughter by gross negligence in 95 of the deaths.

Helicopter attacks Venezuela's supreme court
