France's foreign minister

French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault has been speaking of France's sympathy and solidarity following the terror attacks in Westminster that left 4 people dead, including the attacker. 

The minister visited with a group of French school children caught up in the London attack, three of whom were injured.

Police chief urges Londoners to talk to police about terror concerns

Police in London have appealed for the public's help in keeping the city safe following Wednesday's terror attack. 

It comes as tributes have been paid to PC Keith Palmer and the other victims of Wednesday's terror attacks in Westminster.    Silences have been held both in Parliament, which reconvened Thursday and outside the headquarters of Scotland Yard. 

Police continue to investigate whether the attacker who killed 3 others before being shot himself was working alone.   Armed raids on six addresses in London, Birmingham and elsewhere resulted in the arrest of seven people. 

Acting Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police,  Craig Mackey who witnessed some of the events himself, said the police need the help of the public.

7 people arrested in overnight raids following Westminster terror attack

Police have arrested seven people after raiding addresses in London, Birmingham and elsewhere in the UK,  following the terrorist attack in Westminster which left four people dead, including the attacker.

Macron Continues to Lead in New French Presidential Poll

A new poll shows French centrist presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron continues to be the favorite to win the election.

U.S. lawmaker claims Trump team targeted in US surveillance of foreigners

A bitter fight between U.S. Republicans and Democrats has broken out over claims President Donald Trump's transition team was placed under U.S. government surveillance.

Top Democrat, Adam Schiff, who serves on the House intelligence committee, slammed his counterpart Republican chairman Devin Nunes, for failing to share evidence supporting his controversial claims.

US Backs Assault On Dam in Syria

The US has confirmed that its forces are helping coalition allies in an assault on a key area of Raqqa Province in Syria.

Rep. Schiff condemns Trump briefing

The top Democrat on the House intelligence committee says the briefing of President Trump has cast grave doubt over the investigation into Russian meddling in American politics.

Chair Devin Nunes says he briefed the president in part because his name, Donald Trump, and names of his associates came up - incidentially - as part of legal intelligence gathering during the transition.

Representative Adam Schiff, the Democrat and ranking member, says this is not the appropriate way to run an investigation.

May: Terrorist attack in London "sick and depraved"

British Prime Minister Theresa May has described the terrorist attack that left 4 people dead, including the attacker, as "sick and depraved". 

Mrs May made the statement after chairing a Cobra meeting, a panel of senior police and security officials.    She confirmed that one attacker was responsible for driving into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge before he stormed the grounds of Parliament and stabbed a police officer to death.  The intruder was shot by armed officers. 

Many people injured on the bridge are in a critical condition. 

Mrs May said the city would not live in fear of those who did not share the UK's values of freedom and liberty.

U.S. President Donald Trump feels vindicated by what U.S. House Intelligence chair Devin Nunes told him about legal and incidental gathering of information tied to the Trump transition team.
